SAR marketing and oil sample flotation system
Airsafe Sweden AB has together with the Swedish Coast Guard developed a new flotation system used for location, search and rescue operation and oil pollution tests at sea. The flotation system deploys from an aircraft and inflates automatically by means of an effective water activated unit when it reaches the surface of the water.
The flotation bag has got an absorbing filter attached witch makes its possible to drop the flotation bag in a oil pollution area for a perfect matching oil sample.
