We are a licensed Part-145 maintenance organisation operating from Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm. Airsafe is the only US DOT approved Cylinder Requalification Facility in Sweden and our maintenance capabilities are comprehensive. Airsafe Sweden is the only organisation with own production of parachutes in this region and our excellence in high quality technical sewing has awarded us the trust by several national defence organisations to supply and maintain their air safety equipment.

Airsafe was founded in 1977 and we have contributed our know-how to both civil and military aerospace over the years. Swedish artillery grenades have drogue chutes designed and manufactured by us. Life vests in passenger aircraft are sent to us for overhaul and we service brake chutes for the Royal Norwegian Air Force fleet of F-16 fighters. We designed and manufactured spin recovery chutes for  JAS 39 Gripen validation flights and regularly collaborate with Saab and the Swedish Armed Forces in smaller and larger projects.  Read our story
